Whenever we talk about office energy saving, the first idea that comes to mind is to switch off lights when they are not needed. This act may save energy but it can also be done at a cost of productivity. One would have to spend time finding where the lights are and then switching them off while they walk around. This is the most obvious benefit of saving energy in the office. The more you reduce consumption of electricity, the more you’d be able to save. This will directly result in reduction in electricity bills. Also, there would be a reduced power failure risk or a prolonged interruption because; you are reducing your bills.

Most of us would agree that winters can be a lot colder and summers can be hotter than they should be. This is especially true for offices located in old buildings or where there is minimal use of air conditioners and heaters over the years.
